Two New Micro-Qualification Programmes in the Field of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

Home Announcements Two New Micro-Qualification Programmes in the Field of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

The countdown has begun for the training and certification programme, which is to be launched under the leadership of the Medical Informatics Association and utilising the infrastructure of the Clinical Artificial Intelligence Academy (CAI) Platform.

At this special event, which will award an internationally recognised Digital Badge (Micro-Credential), we are offering two different programmes tailored to participants’ levels of experience:

1. Introductory Programme to Basic Level Clinical Artificial Intelligence

Designed for medical students (Year 4 and above) and undergraduate/postgraduate students who are preparing for the medicine of the future. Using a specific, common clinical problem, it will offer the opportunity to experience first-hand the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare systems in an accessible format, without being overwhelmed by complex theories.

2. Advanced Sepsis and Clinical Disuption Programme

It has been designed for Specialists and General Practitioners who wish to support clinical decision-making processes with artificial intelligence, as well as for Health Informatics Specialists and Engineers working behind the scenes of the system. The course will provide an in-depth exploration of how an end-to-end artificial intelligence model, trained on real clinical data, can be evaluated in sepsis and clinical deterioration scenarios and integrated into healthcare processes.
